Rollinger
Investment Company
2017
Building on five years of experience in the Ecuadorian mining sector, the acquisition of a concession became a natural progression. In 2017, Mincosmo was founded as a copper and gold mining company with the aim of producing and exporting mineral concentrates. The company currently owns a 420-hectare concession in Azuay, Ecuador, where exploration and pre-production activities are actively taking place.
2012
Ecoluxen, run by Sven Rollinger, is an Ecuadorian mining and processing company founded in 2012. The project was established with the goal of promoting more eco-friendly and efficient mineral processing operations, while still maintaining profitability for both the company and its clients.
The company has built its own processing plant in the El Oro region, offering processing services to various small- and medium-sized miners in the surrounding area. The plant utilizes advanced technology, ensuring high recovery rates of copper and gold for clients.
Real Estate Projects
from 2010

Fourth Evolution - International Focus
2010's

The focus remained on prestigious real estate projects, with one of the key developments being the Alfa Project. This project, located in the heart of Luxembourg City, encompassed retail spaces, offices, parking facilities, and a hotel, totaling over 20,000m² of space. The project was sold in phases to different investors.
Another significant project is the Château de Stolzembourg, one of the last privately owned castles in Luxembourg.
As part of the company’s international expansion, real estate investments were also made in long-term projects across North, Central, and South America.
From 2010 onwards, Nico gradually reduced his operational involvement across all businesses and focused on leading the company's strategic international expansion.
Serge took control of the Luxembourg-based businesses and launched several new ventures in the country, including a real estate development and business angel investments. Rollinger Chauffage Sanitaire was sold through a management buyout to the company's long-term director, though the brand was retained.

Third Evolution - Rollinger Walferdange
early 2000's

By 2010, with the entry of the third generation into the business, Nico and Marco decided to divide the company into two separate entities.
This decision was driven by the involvement of Serge, Nico's eldest son, and Tommy, Marco's eldest son, as well as the anticipation of more family members joining in the coming years.
Nico and Serge retained control of Rollinger Chauffage Sanitaire along with half of the real estate portfolio, while Marco and Tommy took charge of Rollinger Toiture and the other half of the real estate portfolio.
In 2001, the company entered a new era with the construction of a flagship office and rebranding of the company.
New ventures were added to its portfolio, including the creation of a subsidiary focused on real estate development and property management.
Additionally, a sustainability department was established, positioning the company as a pioneer in solar energy. Another notable innovation was the introduction of low-energy wooden house construction, a first for Luxembourg.

Second Evolution

Second Generation
1978
By 1985, Guy Rollinger had left the family business to start his own venture, founding the Groupe Guy Rollinger.
Henri passed the operational management of the company to his two sons, Nico and Marco. Together, they expanded the business to include additional areas, such as the Möbelzentrum, and relocated to a new, larger office in Walferdange.
Over the following years, they grew the team from 40 to more than 100 employees. Subsequently, the company was renamed from Henri Rollinger & Fils to Rollinger Walferdange.

Nico Rollinger, the eldest son of Henri Rollinger, joined the family business after earning his master craftsman certification (brevet de maîtrise) in sheet metal work, plumbing, and heating. Shortly thereafter, his brothers Marco and Guy Rollinger also joined the family business.
